I have a 2.5 year old boy who is pretty much your typical 2 yr old. Since he was an infant, he has always been very opinionated and recently in the last year, very aggressive and hyperactive in his response to different activities and situations. example; screamed, kicked and fought in car seat for 30 min. when I dropped my car off for repairs, cuz he wanted my car back. All very physical activities turn into very aggressive, hitting, kicking events, sometimes could be deadly in nature. this happens several times throughout the day. Usually at home or in public with myself, but has happened at school randomly too. Does this with other family members too, just not as often. He has good social skills, speech and extremely high cognitive abilities. Understands things he shouldn't. Very good reasoning and problem solving skills. I just don't get the random acts of violence?
