Handicapped Parking Space…DENIED

In Philadelphia, the Parking Authority denied a severely handicapped girl a handicapped parking space in front of her own home. The girl, with severe brain damage, is unable to attend school if someone is parked in front of her home because the ramp from her home accesses the street at this parking space.  The 12 year old is unable to go to school when it snows or if a car is parked in the space because the bus cannot retrieve her without the use of her ramp.
