Thursday Evening was a huge night for me, I got my very own ICU monitor that is LOADED with ECG (3 lead electrocardiogram) SPo2 (Pulse Oximetry by Nellcor) NIBP (Non Invasive Blood Pressure) EtCO2 (End Tidal Carbon Dioxide) Tactile Temperature (I could stick the temperature sensor in my armpit or even my mouth if i use a plastic cover). the armpit is the easiest and I will use that when I am confirmed sick.

For now all oximetry projects are on the back burner since I have no way of getting data from the monitor to the internet FOR NOW. It has a NETWORK PORT, on it which means I am sure I could eventually make it database stuff into my windows machine automatically and touchlessly and automatically upload it, so yeah sweet! I can even plug in a second VGA display if I want.

I got an intramuscular swine flu shot today. It was relatively easy.
