A Kallon:

Not an easy question to answer; lots of variables to consider including the size of the community, the relative access to resources both in-person and on-line, etc.  I know of many high quality teams that take very good care of all persons.  I believe the movement to a "medical home" practice will improve care for most people (and there is some new research to support this).

Bottom line, find a group that you care comfortable with that treats you as a whole person (that is, not just a collection of symptoms or disorders).  Find a physician and group that will listen when you talk and will honor your requests.  Don't stop until you find such a group - it is your right and responsibility.

Peace,

Daniel A.
