Other sports included competitive rowing (3 years), soaring (2 years), tennis (many years), equestrian (2 years), archery (2 years), rifle target shooting (2 years), motorcycling, and occasional kayaking. Life was and is a lot of fun. Love biology and research and found these passions all consuming at Stanford. Rowing - Head of the Lagoon (11/13) 5,000 meters; Raindeer Races (12/3); and Corkscrew at BAIC (12/11) 10,000 meters.

Nov. 13, 2011 - rowed Head of the Lagoon Regatta, 5000 meters - this one was hard , but felt a lot better. It was a beautiful day for a row.

Hi Philip:

Do you know Dr. Bill Gaugler?  He brought Fencing to our High School in Frankfurt Germany back in 1967.
