What makes you think the pup is premature? If it has hair, it probably isn't. You really should have your veterinarian take a look at the pup and the mother, in order to get a better idea of what you're dealing with. If the pup isn't nursing very well, there are some feeding techniques you can try, one of which would be placing a temporary feeding tube.

Well my 4- day old puppy is not really eating to well. So normally I have started bottle fedding. But everytime I look at her she is gasping for air. I need to know what to do. I didn't even know that she was pregnate, she suprised me. I think that the puppy is a premature puppy. What do I do? I don't want it to die, it is her first puppy and it won't eat off her. And it seems everytime I feed her she dosen't really get anything to eat. Please Help.
