No matter how much you love your pet, there would be a day when you have to leave your dog behind and enjoy a holiday without him. Still you can make arrangements but if you have an urgent business meet to attend and have to go out of the city for few days, you cannot arrange for a pet sitter who can drop by your home and meet him. There would be no time and also you cannot trust anyone in such short notice. You cannot be sure that your pet would be safe with him. You need to get those arrangements done and your business trip would also round the clock. So it is better you drop your pet at pet boarding which would be the best option as of now when you are not going to be around.
Dos and don’ts for your dog!
Before you decide which boarding would be suitable for your pet, you need to check on the facilities they offer you and also the charges, if they are within your budget or expensive. You can also take a tour to the place your pet would be for days together. If possible take your pet along and make sure he moves with you. If he looks happy after meeting the pet boarder who would be taking care of your dog, that means he is comfortable with him. Once your tour is over, you can ask all the questions you think you should know about the place and also confirm about the food timings, sleep patterns and play time. If your dog requires any kind of special treatment or sleeping patterns are different, then you need to make the pet boarder well aware of it before hand. It would be good if you drop your number and a list of things which your pet needs to do or take. This way your work and your pet boarder’s work would be easier
