As in human, the eyes of the cats are also important to their welfare. The eyes are prone to some diseases too. Common diseases related to cat eye health are conjunctivitis or Pinkeye, cataracts, and glaucoma. The most dangerous disease is conjunctivitis because if it is caused by chlymidia bacteria, then the disease may be contagious to human. If your cat had showed the first signs of one of those diseases, it is wise to take it as soon as possible to the vet otherwise it can grow to blindness or bigger expense for its long treatment in the vet.
