should baytril in injection form and liquid form be given to a 6 week old puppy

i was told baytril is agaisnt the law to be given to a dog under 28 weeks

is this correct?

The various forms of Baytril are advised to NOT be used in dogs from 2-8 months of age due to the possibility of being associated with cartilage erosions in the weight-bearing joints and other forms of joint disease.  This information is plainly listed on the drug insert that comes with every product.
