The pup-tastic grooming staff at  Rover Oaks Pet Resort  in Katy are helping animals from  Citizens for Animal Protection  (CAP) go from bow to wow by providing weekly doggie makeovers for lucky  CAP  dogs each Wednesday. The pups also receive a free grooming certificate from  Rover Oaks Katy  so their new adoptive parents can continue to keep them looking their best!

Only one pup ready for their close up this week...Mr. Fred. Check him out BEFORE his Rover's Makeover!

Fred before
Meet Fred (gotta love a dog named Fred!)...a one and a half year old Yorkie mix, found as a stray on Detroit Avenue downtown. He is a cute and sweet little guy who needs a little practice getting used to the grooming process (who can blame does not appear he was ever groomed in his life!) but is otherwise a good boy who deserves a great home. He has a cute little snaggle-tooth smile and adorable ears! Fred's stray hold is up on August 10, at which time he will be looking for a better family who will take care of him and keep him safe.

 Check Out Fred NOW!

Fred and many other wonderful dogs, cats and small animals are waiting patiently for loving homes at Citizens for Animal Protection, 17555 Katy Freeway (I-10 near Barker-Cypress). You can also visit them on the web at , but as there are many more pets at the shelter than are listed on the site, it is definitely worth a visit. Hurry over to CAP...your new best friend is waiting to meet you!
