Rover's Makeovers! Rover Oaks Pet Resort, Taking Homeless Pups from Bow to Wow!
Posted Jun 21 2012 9:14am
The pup-tastic grooming staff at Rover Oaks Pet Resort in Katy are helping animals from Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) go from bow to wow by providing weekly doggie makeovers for lucky CAP dogs each Wednesday. The pups also receive a free grooming certificate from Rover Oaks Katy so their new adoptive parents can continue to keep them looking their best!
This week's makeovers feature Marshall, a 3 year old poodle/bichon mix, and Bando, a 10 month old terrier mix.
Meet Marshall BEFORE His Rover's Makeover!
Marshall was found as a stray near Pastoria Drive and Clodine-Reddick. He is a very sweet, quiet and somewhat timid dog...who was very scared by the whole grooming process but an absolute angel about it all. His stray hold is up on June 22, at which time he will be looking for a wonderful family to take him home!

Meet Bando BEFORE His Rover's Makoever!
Bando was found abandoned in front of the CAP shelter. He is a playful puppy still, very happy and excited to meet everyone. In spite of that, he was really good for the groomer. His stray hold is up on June 21 and he will be looking for a family to call his own.
Check Out Bando NOW!
Bando, Marshall and many other wonderful dogs, cats and small animals are waiting patiently for loving homes at Citizens for Animal Protection, 17555 Katy Freeway (I-10 at Barker-Clodine). You can also visit them on the web at www.cap4pets.org , but as there are many more pets at the shelter than are listed on the website it is definitely worth a visit. Hurry over to CAP...your new best friend is waiting to meet you!
