Kim Hartz and Barbara Breitsameter will inspire and guide you through the exploration in the craft of artistic dog photography. For the serious amateur photographer to the seasoned professional photographer wanting to expand their business, this unique workshop will help you identify your personal style and expand your creative vision and artistic approach to dog photography.

The workshop will be held at Barbara’s Poppyblue home studio, and in an effort to keep it intimate and hands on, participants will be limited to 8 photographers.

The workshop and shooting locations will take place on the studio grounds, surrounded by lush fern gardens, rustic fencing, tall grasses, and mature trees. You will learn lighting techniques to use in various lighting situations including outdoors, indoors in an actual home setting, and strobe lighting either in a studio setting or on-location.
