See above.  Kennel cough that persists after 4 months and treatment with 4 different antibiotics, steriods and dog and cough medication.  Recently started him on dog vitamins and immune support and noni juice from a health food store but their has been no sign of improvement.  Any suggestions.  I don't want to lose my friend.

I took my dog back to the vet and they observed him for 24 hours.  They cultured his sputum and taped his backward sneeze and cough.  I am waiting for the results so we can give him the right medications and breathing treatment.  There is hope!
Just for information and follow up after he was scoped and cultured.  The antibiotics for treating the kennel cough left an opportunistic infection of E-Coli and Staph to grow in his nasal passages.  I am still waiting on fungal cultures but thought this information should be shared.  I am kennel nieve but will never have my dog cared for in a kennel again.
I agree with Drake. There are many conditions that can cause a dog to cough and after this amount of time, more needs to be done to determine the exact cause of your dog's.
