My dog has green/yellowish discharge in left eye for months now there is a red bump on her pupil what could this be?

Posted by bel1980

I have a yorkie/bishon mix. Last year her left eye started to squint, a few weeks later this discharge started coming out. I was flushing her eye at least 5 times a day. I took her to the vet, they gave her antibiotics (injection and oral) along with eye wash and a ointment to apply to the eye twice a day. I have done everything I was told to do and months after the ointment is finish she is still having lots of discharge in her eye. I woke up this morning and saw a red bump (look like a blod clot) on the pupil of her eye. What could this be?

I think you need to take your dog to an ophthalmologist. That discharge can be indicative of infection.
