Keeping our pets safe AFTER the holidays »

Posted Jan 10 2010 12:00am

Maybe everyone is still feeling the lingering of the holidays…a sort of let down as we all settle back into normal life. Did you ever think that possibly your pets feel all of this as well? Maybe not but we do. And often there is still the lingering presence of things around the house that can be toxic for us. So read this article and possibly some pets will not have to suffer the consequences of something their humans had no idea could be a problem, WOOF!

The holidays are over, but in many homes the decorations linger. We leave our Christmas tree up until New Year’s Day, but friends of ours leave theirs up until Epiphany, or Little Christmas. Plants, candles and decorations still adorn tabletops. According to the Pet Poison Helpline, some of these holiday items could pose a hazard for our pets. Have a pawsitively tail waggin’, NATURALLY healthy day, WOOF!
