I'm not sure there's anything that will work immediately because it takes time to rehydrate dry skin. Veterinarians often carry hypoallergenic products for this. A mixture of 1-2 capfuls of Alpha-Keri bath oil (NOT lotion) mixed in a pint of water and sprayed on the area periodically can also help. Because all shampoos are drying, limiting baths and then rinsing thoroughly (spendind twice as much time rinsing as washing) is also recommended, as is towel or air drying rather than using a hair dryer.
