Dog Author to Speak at Pawsabilities

I’m always tail waggin’ happy to help support anything my friend Ron Hevener does and now this is just one more! It’s truly pawsome beapaws these dogs help humans with disabilities and we dogs always want to help humans, no matter what some radical activists say, WOOF! So here is the pawsitively grrreat news!

(Harrisburg, PA) - Author/Artist Ron Hevener is set to appear at the 11th Annual PawsAbilities to be held this weekend at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. In addition to signing copies of his novels, “ High Stakes ” and “ Fate of the Stallion!,” Mr. Hevener will be delivering one of his most popular presentations: “ Those Crazy Dog Laws and YOU!”

Over 400 volunteers from throughout the central Pennsylvania area participate in creating this yearly fundraiser to benefit Susquehanna Service Dogs. More than a spectator dog show, PawsAbilities 2007 — being called “The Must Do Dog Event of 2007″ — is an opportunity for all dog enthusiasts and their dogs to participate. From dog olympics and dancing to dog washes and parades, the choices and the smiles are guaranteed to last all weekend long.

Susquehanna Service Dogs is a program of Keystone Children & Family Services that raises, trains and places dogs to assist individuals with disabilities to live more independent lives. It is one of eleven groups throughout the world accredited by Assistance Dogs
International. More than 125 Susquehanna Service Dogs have been placed throughout central Pennsylvania and beyond.
