I decided to share a puppy photo of me bepaws this is all about helping puppies and pets! Mom is also going on DogCatRadio.com tomorrow, YIPPEE! I like the dog part, too bad the cats had to be a part of it WOOF! …uh Mom says to be nice bepaws cats are people too…RUH??? What’s a Puppy and Pet Pawlooza and why should you be there?
Saturday May 19th, from 10am til 3pm Roosevelt Middle School in the Village of Tijeras on Highway South 14 will host a community event to promote the education and improvement of pawsitive pet ownership and benefit the school library. The funfilled day will include an agility course sponsored by the City of Edgewood, a Rally O – obedience introduction, shot clinic, microchipping information, Joan Marie Yazze-Gallegos, Miss Rio Rancho 2007 and her crowned Chihuahuas Misty and Muffin will lead Best Dressed Pet Parade, Contests, RMS students will host Reading to the Dogs sponsored by the Tijeras Library, Bernallilio Deputies will hold a K-9 demonstration and the RMS Parents in Action Committee will have a pet photo booth.
Educational vignettes will be given throughout the day by local experts and celebrities including Kim Bloomer natural pet care educator and co-author of Whole Health for Happy Dogs, Artist Renee Kostermans, Pet Photographer Joyce Fay, Pet trainer Cameron Murphy, Pet Therapy provider Jerry Tuttle and many other local experts who will speak and demonstrate many important and helpful tips for your pet.
People will have fun too with food, entertainment, a real rock wall to climb, carriage rides, and more. Honor a loved pet on our Wall of Hope to end animal abuse or vent life’s irritations on our Pet Peeves Poster There will be booths with pet and people products and a silent auction benefiting a former RMS student in need of expensive medical treatments.
