Have a Dog Named Max? Author Seeking Inspirational Tales about Dogs Named Max for Compilation of Short Stories!

Posted Apr 27 2010 9:27am
Robin Reynolds, author of Life to the Max: Maxims for A Great Life by a Dog named Max, is seeking true, inspirational short stories from dog owners for a sequel to her award-winning first book.

Reynolds’ family dog, an Airedale Terrier rescue named Max, inspired her to write the esteemed Life to the Max. It explores heartfelt life lessons from the dog’s point of view.

“Max had seen our family through ups and downs, triumphs and tribulations,” said Reynolds. “And, I can only imagine what life lessons other dogs named Max have provided their families, especially considering how many dogs named Max there are in the U.S.”

As reported by the country’s leading pet identification tag makers and pet insurance providers, Max is consistently the most popular name for a male dog. Reynolds wants to share the true inspiring, funny and moving life lessons that dogs named Max have taught so many American families.

Any dog owner who has learned a special lesson from the Max (or Maxine) in his or her life—no matter what breed—is invited to submit a true story for the sequel.

Stories can be submitted online at  http://www.lifetomax.com/send-stories.php . Stories should not exceed 1,500 words and will be edited. In addition, pictures will be needed and should not include copyrighted material.

To learn more about Life to the Max, visit  www.lifetomax.com . Twenty-five percent of each purchase is donated to animal rescue.
