Dog with Rabbit Yeast in Stool

I rescued a 7-9mo old Border/Aussie mix 6 weeks ago. He had Parvo at 3 months old and his last parvo test was negative. Since I have had him he has had a loose stool with mucus. I took him to the vet and she said he had TONS on rabbit yeast in his stool. He has been on flagyl for 1 week and yogurt. He still has a soft stool with mucus in it and now he looks a little fatigued. Is this a lasting effect from Parvo? He has not been around rabbits...have you heard of this before? Please help... I want a healthy puppy!
