Corridor Cutie: Following Freddie! Freddie Has a Foster!!!!

Posted Nov 15 2010 4:56pm

This is such a great update!  Freddie has a foster home!  For all of you who have been following Freddie, you can see how quickly he is improving and just how impressive all the folks involved with Corridor Rescue are!  See below for Deborah's most recent update on Freddie!

Freddie 11-15

“Our Freddie Fredster has left the building!  Yes indeed, at last - 8 weeks after rescue, we have found Freddie a foster home.  He is now out of the clinical boarding environment where he was taken very good care of I might add - at both Abbott's his first week in the safety zone, and then the remainder of time at Tracy Animal Hospital where he naturally was a favorite after he decided to quit trying to bite them all :)!  Thank you foster mom Cheryl for stepping up to help our Frederico continue his recovery which will include heartworm treatment in about a month.

The pics attached are actually from 2 weeks ago - sorry!  But they will make you say "WOW" even if they are not yesterday's photos of him.  Imagine how good he looks today....all snuggly warm in his jumbo crate with a warm bed, and fuzzy toys, and milkbones.  Oh, and dog buddies to keep him company while foster mommie is at work.  And soon to aid in growing his confidence and socialization and keep him using that operated on hip and leg, Cheryl will take him to work with her several days each week.  All the folks at Fritz and our Lone Star Boxer Rescue friends are sure to give Freddie some extra TLC and attention when he's there...exactly what he needs!” -- Deborah Hoffman, Corridor Rescue, Inc.

If you would like to make a donation to Freddie's surgery and boarding costs, that would be greatly appreciated!  Tracy Animal Hospital takes credit card payments over the phone at: (281) 970-0601 or visit the Corridor website at: . Stay tuned to more updates and to our new feature "Corridor Cuties" that will show many more of the great pups saved by Corridor Rescue and ready for a new home!
