Cat Health Monitoring

The problem is cats can not tell the owner when it became ill. New owners know for some time after the cat showed behavioral changes such as more frequent sleep, not eat or diarrhea. And often the new owners know when things are getting worse and cats too late to be taken to a veterinarian.

How well do you know your own cat? because they could not speak, it is best to be aware and accustomed to recognize the signs when cats became ill. They could have been very ill while their owners have not obvious symptoms.

A healthy cat is always alert and responsive to the environment or something new, has a good appetite, rarely overeat and frequent licking and cleaning his book (Grooming). Cats tend to hide illness, and therefore should be aware of the following signs

Loss of appetite: the number of eating cat food in the dishes are not reduced
*
Lame: bruises, bites, broken bones
*
Blood in urine (urine): interference with urinary tract or organ & p [arasit blood
*
Fur was rough: nutritional deficiencies, digestive, parasitic on the fur & leather
*
Mucus or blood in the stool (pup): worms, indigestion, food is not suitable
*
No pup more than one day: dehydration, intestinal blockage hairball, indigestion
*
Constant diarrhea: feline panleukopenia, unsuitable food, the parasite digestive
*
Continuous vomiting: feline panleukopenia, digestive disorders, food is not suitable
*
Fat belly: bloated, overweight (obesity), swelling of the liver
*
Thin: lose weight
*
or cold dark hiding place for more than 24 hours: fever
*
continuous cough: cat flu, respiratory illness, throat congestion
*
scratching the fur: leather & fur parasites (lice, fungi, bacteria), infections / skin lesions
*
ear scratching / shaking his head constantly: dirty ears, ear infections, mites / lice ears (ear mites)
*
continuous chewing: foreign object stuck around the mouth
*
licking or biting a particular body part continuously: pain / itching of the body parts bitten PD
*
languid eyes / drowsy, sleep all day: fever, lack of nutrition, infectious diseases
*
meowed constantly: Birahi (mating time), pain
*
angry / deny carried: trouble / pain in internal organs (lungs, liver, kidney, etc.)
*
excessive drinking or drinking less (than usual): dehydration, diabetes
*
defecate or urinate outside the place (litter box): diarrhea, hormonal disorders, urinary tract disorders
*
pale or yellowish color of the gums or around the eyes: dehydration, anemia, blood parasites
