Did your vet prescribe it? Antibiotics are often prescribed for UTI. Any medication comes with side effects, is that what you're worried about? How severe is the UTI? There are some natural remedies also, but I believe that depends on how mild or severe the UTI is. Sorry, more questions than answers.
