can cat urine in excess cause breathing problems to someone allergic to cats?

There are tenants that live abouve the shop I work in. To my knowledge they have 10 cats and the smell of cat urine is throughout our shop. I am allergic to cats and have been hospitalized in the last month. My breathing is still pretty bad and I was wondering if this could do with the 10 cats.
