Bravo recalls dry roasted pig ears chews

Posted May 31 2011 2:41pm

Today’s the day for recalls I guess. Here’s one from Bravo, for their dry roasted pig ears chews. This one, just like the other one I posted today, is due to salmonella.

Bravo! is voluntarily recalling Product Code: 75-121 Lot # 12-06-10. of Bravo! Pig Ears Chews because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. This lot was shipped to distributors and retailers and distributed between January 1 and February 28,2011 where they were available for purchase.

The specified lot code of Bravo! pig ears are the only product affected by this recall.

The recalled products can be identified by the Lot Number: 12-06-10 and product code 75-121. The Lot Number can be found on the “Best Used by Date” sticker located on the end panel of the outside corrugated shipping carton. The recalled products should not be sold or fed to pets.

The products affected by this recall include only: Bravo! Pig Ears Product Code: 75-121 Lot # 12-06-10.

You’ll find the full release on the Bravo! website , and even more information here: Voluntary Recall on Bravo! Pig Ears Chew .

Seriously . . . if you’re still giving your dogs pig ears, maybe it’s time to find them another treat!
