I have a 1 yr old lab/hound mix and the past 2 weeks I have noticed a knot or lump on the right sideof his neck/throat area. He is going to the vet this week but I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice or info as to what this could be. A week ago he was neutered and he has not ate well since then and today he is making a coughing, dry thraot sound every so often. Could this be related to the lump? Like I said he is going to the vet tomorrow actaully, I am just really worried about him, he's like my 5th child. Thanks for any help you can give me.
