I'm a retired RN who had to leave my career because of Lyme Disease and its co-infections' symptoms. I've kept busy by running a local support group since 1997. My tick bite was probably in 1985 but wasn't correctly diagnosed until 2000. Treatment has greatly improved my quality of life, leaving me eager to continue to help others and perhaps return to work.
