I am 53 years old in very good health except for a medium sized malignant tumor on my left lung. I was diagnosed in May of 2009. All of the tests so far show no signs of any other tumors in my brain or on any of my other organs. I'm very greatful for that. On January 20, 2010 I will be undergoing a procedure called pneumonectomy. (removal of the entire left lung).

I am a wife and mother of two boys. The oldest is a current survivor of a rare and highly malignant brain and spine cancer (Atypical Teratoid/Rhaboid Tumor or AT/RT). His battle with cancer thus far was very harsh on his little body. I blogged about our life before cancer, our life during cancer treatment, and now our life after cancer. My hope is that this blog provides hope for those going...
