I graduated with a nutrition degree in June at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and currently working full time. I'm 5'1.5 and 115 lbs. I used to weight 125lbs. How did I lose the lbs? Just by being more educated about the food I eat allow me to make smart choices. Also staying active by taking stairs instead of elevator, taking walks during lunch, standing instead of sitting when I commute, also...

Hi.  I'm 46 years old.  I have been working on a change of lifestyle since the beginning of June.  As of today, I have lost 65 lbs.  I began participating in charity walks and have decided to begin jogging.  On Thanksgiving I will jog my first 5k.  We'll see how it goes.

My greatest benefit for anyone interested in losing weight is that at 5'9" and age 28, I weighed 360 lbs! By the time I was 30 though, I weighed 200 lbs. I didn't do any crash diets or insane P90X kind of deals. Just walking/jogging and being on an exercise bike. If you are very much over weight, you will find inspirational stories and helpful tips. I put my humorist spin on the world...

Last summer I returned from living in China for 2yrs, and since coming back I've gained weight, been eating junk, and not exercising. My lifestyle there included walking & bike riding every day as transportation (no car), and eating fresh foods form a market (not one pre-packaged meal in 2yrs!). I was healthier with very little effort. It's way too easy to fall into the lazy american...

Exercise makes me feel alive. I like aerobic and dance classes very much. Improving tennis is another goal for me. But I do not like jogging and sit ups which is too bad.
