Patty B.

Granbury, Texas
I lost a kidney and have just recently found a path to take because a Doctor took the time to listen and realized I was not a hypochondriac or a big overly sensitive, stressed, depressed woman. (yes, lots of justified sarcasm). I was athletic, very lean and continued to stay fit by enjoying bike rides and playing recreational co-ed softball. However, when I started a family at 25, I had horrible...

I'm very much into health and lifestyles. My mom is 60 years old and has rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and anemia. I am her "nurse" at home, making sure she takes her meds daily, eats healthy, and I also inject her with reumacaid and her B12 shot for her anemia once a month. Thankfully I am healthy and only randomly get ill from a cough, but I regularly suffer from...

My best sport is playing musical instruments. i.e. NOT very athletic. I love to swim and do water sports, though. Also, being a hypochondriac I like to know every single thing that is going on with me. One cough, gotta take my temperature, cease all activities...

I began my blog as a way to give of myself and share what I am learning in my healing journey. The road has not always been easy, but it gets better just knowing that maybe I can help someone else move faster through this process. My family and I have many food and chemical sensitivities that make cooking and shopping a challenge. We need to eat organic, no: additives, preservatives, gluten,...

Hi, I'm Ron, and I'm an ME/CFS survivor (so far anyway), 24 years and counting. I am, at the time of writing, pretty much housebound. This restricts me to mostly sedentary pastimes - reading, blogging, occasionally sloping off to the pub, and cooking when I can, which isn't as often as I'd like. I do, though, make my own bread by hand, at least once a week - good food and physio in one...

I am 55 years of age. My husband recently passed away of massive heart failure on Feb 3rd. I have been sick for over a month with a cold/flu thing going around. I had been coughing to the point where it would hurt in the kidney area. I would lose bladder control. I think i may have a urinal track infection as well. I have lost my voice and my ears and throat are affected as well.
