I am 28, have 5 kids, and am scared out of my mind... literally. I have chiari malformation and am going blind. I live in florida and am looking for help and ideas on making my days more enjoyable. i feel that my illness has caused me to fail my family in so many ways.... (deep sigh)
I've lived with mental illness for most of my life. It started out as Depression in my teens, and then by the time I was 20 I started having symptoms of Schizophrenia. I went untreated until I was 20. Some of the emotional pain from my childhood is still with me. This blog is about my life with mental illness and the many challenges I face with it.
