I am a married, active 49 year old with two adult children. A strong history of heart disease on both parents sides has given me the heart disease gene. I have suffered a heart attack and have had two stent procedures and three stress tests within an eight month period.

I believe that World History is a reflection of the thoughts, actions and words, of Human Beings. Therefore, I have chosen to be a positive addition to History. And, I strive to live a non- violent (ahimsa) and empowering way of life. [However, I'm not a saint/far from perfect].
I hold a master's degree from the University of Louisville in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in History with minors in Humanities and Political Science, also from the University of Louisville during which time I wrote a senior thesis about the history of women's cancers. I plan to be a legal advocate for women's health after I finish law...
Most notably, I'm a mom of a preschooler and a kindergartner; a writer and editor and student; a wife of a very well spoken history professor; and a breast cancer survivor in my early 30's. I love to sleep. People usually find me much more interesting than I find myself.
