My husband was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease almost 5 years ago. Unfortunately that wasn't the only disease he would be diagnosed with. About a year and half later he was diagnosed with an inflammatory arthritis called Spondyloarthropathy, which is a side effect of the Crohn's Disease. As if that wasn't enough, a few months later it was discovered that he has a liver disease called Primary...

I have had Crohn's disease since adolescence.  Along with the usual digestive problems, fistulas, skin rashes, aches and pains I have also experienced neurological damage, serious vitamin and iron deficiencies and have recently been diagnosed with a Hurthle cell mass on my Thyroid.  Life with Crohn's disease can be difficult and frustrating.  At times you...

I suffered with Crohns Disease for 30 years and after 20 ops I ended up with intestinal failure. I recently became the 11th person to have a small bowel transplant, at Churchill Hospital in Oxford. Goals: Eat healthy

Toronto, Canada
In August 2007, I made the decision to lose weight. I joined Weight Watchers and ended up losing 33 lbs on the program and have been keeping it off since then. My doctor couldn't tell me what was wrong and the clinic...

I also have  Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and an underactive thyroid gland. I have great support from my doctor and have just tested positive for Rheumatoid factor. I've read up on the subject but still don't...

This is from my Blog;  If you're the type like Richard Schulz who likes to learn about many things, takes joy in family, learning different ways to make money while working less, than you and I will probably get along quite well. I never intended to be someone who made a living online, but here due to circumstances beyond my control I set out to find ways to earn a living from the...

I just celebrated my 70th birthday. I have battled Crohn's Disease since I was 12 yrs old, had 10 major abdominal surgeries, and now live with an ileostomy and very short small bowel, no large intestine at all. I believe I'm doing extremely well.   I am interested in nutrition and alternatives to health care.
