Married - work full-time. Generally in good health - try walking 2-3 times a week - Have taken blood pressure medicine for 17 yrs that is under control. I am pre-diabetic but control my sugar by diet.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in early 2001. Since then, I have been able to achieve and maintain normal blood sugar through weight loss and frequent exercise. I have never taken any diabetes medication, and I was able to stop taking the blood pressure medication I had been on when I was diagnosed as diabetic. I've just found a different way to live that enables me to get by (so far)...
