My real name is Jean, and I am a female, age 56.  I live in northeast Ohio, and I am interested in art, writing, nature, animal rights and health care rights.  Since 2001, I have been getting progressively disabed, with trouble walking, and muscle pain and stiffness, caused by exertion.  My first symptom was severe pain and stiffness in my sacroiliac area, that spread up my spine...

I am 24 years old. I was in a car accident when I was 17, and year later I started having daily level 10 headaches. I searched for an answer everywhere: Michigan, Chicago, St. Louis, Indianapolis. For 5 years I had no answers and no pain relief. I told my mom that I would try out one more doctor, but I was very ready to give up. The one doctor happened to be a neurosurgeon and helped me...

I have had a constant headache now for over 2 years with migraines coming at least 4=5 times a week. Nothing seems to help. Mediation, stimuate implant, nerve block, even a special pillow. Nothing. I'm at my wits end. On Oct. 14th I'm scheduled for a 3rd surgery to remove the implant that has caused more harm then good. I just can't seem to catch a break. It has become very depressing.

My name is Josh. I came on here cause I've suffered from chronic pelvic pain for 6 years. I've had over 15 surgeries/procedures, seen over 100 MD specialist, and I have nerve stimulators in my back. I'm overcoming 10 years of nerve damage that had me down for the count, I'm now trying to come back strong, while at the same time remembering to take my time and not rush the recovery. I'm happiest in my kayak on the ocean, though my bike in the woods is a nice second choice. I have my degree in Sci/tech Photography, and hope once my body recovers that I'll be able to actually use the...

Somewhere around November 18th or 19th of 2007, I started feeling what I thought were Carpal Tunnel symptoms in my right hand. The symptoms included: tingling of my fingers, numbness, and I was having trouble typing. I went out and bought wrist guards, and things designed to help CT patients. The symptoms continued for about two weeks and I promised I?d visit the doctor after Thanksgiving....

I am a 41yr old man. I've been an electrician for 22yrs, most of which i've been a workaholic. "A walking forklift", I've been called. In May of 2007 I lifted my toolbag wrong (which I found out later weighed 80lbs) and felt a sudden sharp pain in my lower back that almost put me to my knees. I reported this but kept on working (old mindset "just work...

I was diagnoised with trigeminal neuralgia 12 years ago,I tried all the meds there were to no avail so i decided to have the MVD operation. The doctor cut and took out 60% of my nerve. The pain was worst than ever. I than had a nerve removed over my left eye and was pain free for 18 months and then the pain returned. After this I had the GAMMA KNIFE which did nothing. I am now in pain every day...
