I teach sociology at a junior college and will retire in 2009, after 37 years. I cope with my COPD but have started burping when I lie down and it is causing me great distress. I have tried six different medications and none work. My doctors are stumped. I wonder if anyone else has this problem.
I suffered an injury to my SI joint & sacrum in the military due to a fall & now have degenerative disk diaease and arthritis in those areas.
