Recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and off work while I go through treatment (surgery, chemo, radiation). I am 43, married for 17 years to Brad, and we have 2 boys - Zach is 14 and Carter is 11. I run outdoors year round and have done 3 half marathons (one in the snow). I want to do a full marathon at least once. I plan to spend time outdoors walking or running as I go through my treatments.
I am an active 44 year old from Missoula Montana. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 months ago and spent the winter recovering from bilateral mastectomy/oophorectomy surgeries and chemotherapy. I was able to continue running (albeit fewer miles) during chemo. I started doing yoga during chemo for the relaxation and conditioning benefits.
