My daughter was born with a rare metabolic disorder called Maple Syrup Urine Disease. She is currently on the waiting list for a liver transplant, which she will receive at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh when the time comes. I blog about our experiences, hopes and fears about the transplant.
Diagnosed with multiple food allergies-corn, rice, oats, wheat, barley, rye, rice, garlic, onion, peas, all nuts, tomato, more but too many to remember. I do a pretty good job of cooking for myself, but I get tired of trying to find something when we eat out. Why does corn syrup and corn starch have to be in everything!
