I am starting a new fitness routine. I have been away from a schedule for a few months. While in college, I was pretty well scheduled and to have a partner to work out with would be great.
I work in the East Bay on Tuesdays and Fridays, with a fairly open schedule. I seek an activity buddy for for the warmer parts of the day in Rockridge / Temescal / Elmwood. Currently I run at about noon on those days.
I'm a 50-ish mom and happily partnered. I have very little free time on the weekends, so having a buddy to exercise with during the week would be great!
I'm the Director of External Relations for Stanford Lively Arts. I used to run marathons, but have been pretty inactive the last three years (combination of recovery from injuries, busy schedule, and escalating laziness). Now I'm getting back into running and looking to make it a permanent part of my routine.
A tall girl who loves to eat and run...just not at the same time. Learning to balance healthy living with kids, carpool, and a crazy schedule.
And I have a bad habit of talking about poop.
I was diagnosed with Lupus and overlapping Rheumatoid Arthritis in November 2008. Before this, I had been mis-diagnosed for about two years. First with bi-lateral carpal tunnel, then with the curve in my neck not being curved enough. I had hand surgery scheduled in July 2008 before my primary care physician suggested I cancel until more tests could be run.
