I love to run!
I am a beginner runner attempting my first full marathon in December. I'll sprinkle in a few half marathons and other shorter races in before then!
My blog is about the adventures of discovering long distance running, the cool gear and gadgets I come across they way, the way I like to fuel, product reviews, and just my life in general.
Originally from Brazil, I have been living in Southern California since June 2000 and became an American Citizen in February 2007. I am part of the IT department at A Snail's Pace, and also coach beginner runners through their Running Academy program. I enjoy running, reading, listening to music, and spending quality time with my husband, friends, and family.
My name is Bernardo and I am a personal trainer at Arrillaga. I also train people to run distance events. I have a class Fit 2 Run that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm in front of Arrillaga. We focus mainly on beginners. I am training to run the Boston Marathon and I am a member of the Stanford Triathlon Team. My first Triathlon will be March 7 at the Stanford Treeathlon.
