Nighttime Ain’t the Right Time for Physical Therapy

I’m no big fan of at night. Had the first of my three PT appointments this week, all at 6:30 p.m. I’m already tired from just moving around all day by then, so add that to the fact that I’m expected to exercise when I get there and you can understand my lack of enthusiasm.
But it’s still good. The “Queen of Pain” worked out my shoulder again… it is getting looser. We did all the “big walk” and “reach for the stars” and “ride the bike” and “stretch the calves” and “put one foot in front of the other” stuff and I didn’t fall and crack my skull or anything.
Came home, and for the first time took 1.5 mg of Klonopin for nitey-nite time. I don’t know if the late night exercise (and I just noticed I referred to 7pm as “late night.” Jesus, I’m so old.) or the Klonopin, but I slept like a lord! Best night’s sleep I’ve had in weeks.
Just did an interview for a podcast, got dressed and did my PT exercises. Almost fell several times but managed to keep myself more-or-less upright and unhurt. This time.
Gotta go back tonight. But no PT tomorrow. Just a speech pathologist visit.
