I have a friend who does not have a tremor BUT does throw her arms head and legs about. Does this sound like parkinsons disease.

Up to 30 percent of people with Parkinson's don't have tremor.  What you are describing sounds like dyskinesia, but that doesn't happen to people with PD until they've been taking levodopa for some years.  Sounds like a visit with a neurologist is in order.
Each person's symptoms  is different. I agree with Bill S. re:dyskinesia and also that it stems from medication issues in PD. I would also recommend a visit to the neurologist or a movement disorder specialist.
