When do you feel the most comfortable in your own skin?  When do you not? And what do you do to change it?

I definitely feel the most comfortable in my own skin, when I’m at home in my cozy sweats or pajamas, Jimmy’s old over sized v-necks, my glasses, and no bra.  Ahhhhh.  I just feel so relaxed and comfortable and it’s like, I don’t have to impress anyone.  It’s such a freeing feeling.  I do, however, have to remember that it’s not the most lovely sight in the world to my family, so I try to find a middle ground most of the time.  Like, say, putting on a bra.

How often do you exercise? Is it enough or just right? I need to exercise almost every day, although I do give myself a day off or two or sometimes three a week.  Working out is such a stress reliever for me, (plus I feel a little less guilty about my chocolate addiction), so even when I don’t feel like it, I remind myself that it’s like my medicine.  I need it to stay healthy and sane(ish).

Describe your dream adults only vacation? Oh for sure hands down I would go to some remote island where there isn’t a single touristy thing to do.  I want nothing but a beach, a bungalow, a TV (in case), a private chef, a Jacuzzi tub, and a large fluffy king size bed.  I’ve seen these amazing huts over the water in Bora Bora that look absolutely amazing…and it can’t be that expensive, right?

Now a word about those glasses....
Oh my word, do I ever love them!

I have been wearing glasses ever since the 4th grade.
And let me just tell you, my first pair looked nothing like the Ray Bans I'm sporting now.

Oh no.

They had clear frames with a bluish tint inside, the lenses were super thick, and man, were they ever big.
Not big in a chic way, big in that they took over more than half my face kind of way.

My mom decided to spend the extra money for those decorative rope thingies that kept them from falling to the ground should the tether ball smack you in the face.

In other words?
I was not cool.

A couple years later when I realized being blind was to be my lot in life...I began to have more of an opinion in my style of glasses.

And so every few years I decided to try something new.
And with every change I make sure the pair I get is a little different than the previous pair.

When SmartBuyGlasses asked if I'd be up for trying out a pair of their glasses, I was super excited because I'd finally have a chance to get funky with it!

I spent days and days looking at their selections and even used the little camera option to "try" some of them on.
You could say I was a little obsessed.

I'm glad that I spent the time though, because while they may not be everyones style, I TOTALLY love them.
I feel all hipster now.
Or is it emo?
Probably both.

And what's even more amazing about ordering through SmartBuyGlasses, is that with every pair you order they give a pair to someone in need .
It's an amazing program you should definitely check out.

So thanks SmartBuyGlasses for allowing me to find a pair of glasses that not only do I love, but help me to feel more comfortable in my skin each and every day.
