Weight Loss Wednesday

Welcome to Pink Lemonade's sixth Weight Loss Wednesday!

Today's post will, unfortunately, be sort of short. I woke up in the middle of the night with a 103 fever and it's pretty much the same this morning - so don't give up...Weight Loss Wednesday will be back in it's proper format next's the abbreviated version for today:

So how are you all doing with your program??

Did you try anything from the "C" list last week? We did the chineese veggies in honor of Chinese New Year. Lauren spent the whole month of January studying China in her kidergarten class (they even learned to write a few things in Chinese and sing a song in Chinese!). They ended their month-long studies last Friday with a Chinese banquet so, of course, some "C" veggies were on the menu! Now lets try something from the "D & E" fruit and veggie list: Daicon Radish, Date, Delicata, Escarole, Eggplant (can you believe there aren't more D & E fruits and veggies.)

Oreo Candy Bites
there are SOOOOO many new 100-calorie items out now, it's NUTS. But one that I recently tasted and absolutely LOVE is 100 Calorie Packs Candy Bites from Nabisco. It comes in Chips Ahoy! and Oreo varieties, and both are great (with a POINTS® value of 2* per pack). Each 100-calorie pouch contains a whole bunch of sweet, crunchy little cookie bits wrapped in candy coating that taste like their respective cookie titles. Yum! This stuff IS candy, so I don't recommend eating it all the time -- but if you're looking for a calorie-controlled sweet fix, these packs ROCK. - courtesy of Hungry

Soooo...What are we going to do this week?? Drink our water....Continue with our Omega-3's....No sugary drinks...exercise...try an eggplant or a daikon and try having a smoothie for breakfast - you'll love them!...Good Luck and leave a comment to let me know how you're doing with your weight loss efforts!
