Wedding, Anniversary, Kid Stuff, Birthday, Friends, Another Wedding...

If you've noticed, my blog has really taken a backseat to my life. I can't help it, life still hasn't slowed down over here. You'd think once summer was over that I'd get a break. Nope, maybe in February or something! So, here is the quick explanation of why you won't be seeing me to much...
First, last weekend, I had a fabulous time at my sister-in-law's bachelorette party. I drove to Indianapolis, kid free, and got to spend some fun adult time with a few fabulous ladies. It took me a couple of days to get back to normal, but I've also been packing and trying to decide what I and the kids will wear to our next event...
This weekend, my cousin-in-law is getting married outside at a winery. My hubby is very close to this cousin and I must admit, she is one of the most amazing people I know. That being said, this is a very important wedding to our family. Unfortunately, the weather doesn't want to decide if it will be 67 or 75 degrees and whether or not it will rain. The wedding is at 6:00, so I am having issues making sure that the girls and I are not cold/hot. I just decided to bring 2 outfits so when the weather decides what it will do then I will be prepared.
My anniversary is on the 28th, but so is the Homecoming parade that the Bear's school will be walking in. Yes, 9 years is important, but so is making sure my daughter gets to do the fun things she wants to do with her school friends. Because of that, the anniversary gets pushed to Friday. Can't do it on Thursday because the Bear has soccer practice. Mom and dad, did you know you're babysitting on Friday?
My parents come on September 30th for the Bear's birthday (and to babysit for my anniversary). The funny thing is that the Bear's birthday is not until the 7th. So, we'll celebrate the Bear's birthday for 2 weekends in a row. After being at all of the Bear's birthday parties from when we lived in San Diego to Lincoln to Iowa City, it has been decided that they come the weekend before the party this year. Not that they don't enjoy a ton of kids running around and being crazy (insert sarcasm here), they just thought it would be nice to enjoy a quiet weekend with the Bear.
The following weekend is the Bear's 7th birthday. We like to celebrate in this family, so she'll have her neighborhood friends over on Friday and a tiny party on Saturday. This year is a movie and pizza with 3 of her closest friends.
We get a little break for 2 weeks, other than hubby going to Indiana for a bachelor party.
Halloween weekend, one of my best friends is going to my hometown to see us and watch a Notre Dame football game. Hubby and I are trying to get tickets, but we may have to settle for just tailgating. My friend and her family are staying at my parents' house with my entire family. It will be a very tight and close weekend.
The first weekend of November is the second huge family wedding. My sister-in-law is getting married. My entire family is in the wedding. The girls are super excited about being flower girls. My hubby and I are super excited that my parents are coming to the wedding and letting the girls stay in their room with them the night of the wedding. It will be like a mini-vacation for my hubby and I (thanks mom and dad).
The second weekend of November will probably go a little like this...wake up on Saturday, tell the kids to go find something to do, and then sleep on the couch while watching football. On Sunday, just repeat what I said will be done on Saturday.
So, if you haven't noticed, I will be just a little bust in the next few weeks, so I'm sorry if I neglect my blog. I do promise that if I find a good deal that I will post it.
