Whew. It took a little while to choose and notify the winner and verify that she was able to accept and put her in touch with the Givers Of the TP at Quilted Northern!
The winner was Bobbi from Mitchellville, Indiana! Her entry got us all nodding and then rolling (as it were). I love the creative suggestions and feel for her, being in an male-centric household myself. Without further ado, the winning entry (cue bugles):
There is no greater bathroom irritation, as a female member of the household, than to be the one who gets to be the person who is the next one after the boy who used up all the toilet paper. Ladies are we not just a bit more challenged to reach across that chasm to the cupboard than the male members of our household? Why yes we are!
Thus I believe the best defense is a strong offense. In this case that means stocking my cupboard to the brim with rolls of TP, encouraging the children to leave swords in the bathroom (better to knock off the necessary roll from the TP mountain) and the weekly check that the very so important super-secret-emergency roll is IN that strange tiny cupboard in your bathroom. Finally you should install a “get me a roll” button in each of your children that way when all that planning fails you can at least holler for some help and they will actually show up. Though unfortunately there is no current option that stops the snickers while getting your mama a roll of TP!
P. S. I am dying to know how y’all determine what constitutes a year’s supply. It boggles.
