Tools to Life: Self Help and Self Development

Posted Jul 07 2008 7:13pm

There is a lot to be said about self help programs. My mother has been using them for years and I grew up with all the as I thought “annoying” responses and advice. Sometimes I had wished I just had one of those “normal” families. However, I am not grateful for the fact that I did not. I am more open to things that most wouldn’t be had I not learned through my mother.

Recently, I have gone through the turmoil and hit my proverbial rock bottom of my life.  I have turned to local support groups, reading books and getting into more of the self help. Granted, I have to watch the amount I am spending so I cannot necessarily goto a counselor as per setting money aside for the upcoming wee one. So I have been doing what I can and when Tools for Life purchased a review, I was genuinely thrilled with the fact that it had come at the right moment. I am taking full advantage of this site and everything that it offers. Finding support groups and a team of people who are going through what you are going through. Granted, I could go to CODA or ALA-NON or any of those local groups, which I have found helpful. However, sometimes in my “off-time” you need to still focus on yourself. Focus on being better is my main priority.

I know a lot of my lovely readers have things in their life they need help with, websites like these are absolutely worth every penny you can put into it. However, the best part of this website is the fact that it is 100% free. So that is what keeps me going back. Knowing that they aren’t demanding payments for me trying to find and connect to those who are going through the same issues that I am. Their variety ofSelf Help  programsis just amazing. They haveinspirational motivationprograms which keeps you wanting to move forward. My last absolute favorite thing is that they connect you tolife coaching support groupssometimes you need someone to step in and help you. We can’t take on all the problems at once. Sometimes we have to cherry pick what we’re going to choose to deal with that day. That is our right.

So sign up today and help yourself to some self help..erm did that make sense?
