We (in Canada) have just had our federal elections. We had a few “election” words tossed around. Now, in our city, we begin municipal elections - for the city counselors, and the mayor. We are all in the car, and Megan, our loud one, is talking. Loudly. We pass a giant sign telling us to vote for a candidate for mayor. Like demanding it would ever influence a vote. Our reader reads it out loud to the rest of us. Loudly. And, not to be outdone, our preschooler informs us:
