This is going to be a boring about my life post…

So last night I was able to see Dan, Janine and Lizzie…oh my sweet sweet Lizzie. When they moved last May I cried for a week, yes a full week. I started crying when Dan said he was being called up for a year and they had to move to Georgia - and really there are days I still cry. Lizzie was born in October 2006 - Janine and I tried to get pregnant at the same time and could not have been happier when she got pregnant and I so wanted them to have a boy! When I found out Lizzie was a girl I cried as I knew that was what Janine wanted! I could not have been happier to hold that little glow worm within a week of her birth! She was so small and so great that I was so happy for them! When Janine had class on Thursday nights I got to hang with Dan and Lizzie…I gave her bottles and read to her and talked to her. And when Janine would get home, Dan would put Lizzie to bed while Janine and I watched Grey’s Anatomy. I always brought Dilly bars from Dairy Queen and Dan always made dinner :) I was so bonded with that little girl. I have not seen her since Memorial Day weekend last year and I needed my Lizzie fix last night so I went and we spent some time together. At first she just smiled at me and hung with her daddy - but before I knew it I was reading her books and playing with blocks and tickling her til she giggled! I was so high on her list Dan said I had wiggled my way back in! Janine is always the cutest pregnant woman - and this time I want it to be a girl! We talked about the house they are buying and Georgia. They really let me be close to Lizzie and hang out with her - and they tell me the new baby will be the same way! Dan and I survived law school together and so many other things - we got engaged within months of each other as well as married within months of each other! It was so funny people who knew us from law school and knew how close we were actually thought we were engaged to each other when they heard each of us  was getting married. We all love silly crazy board games and play them for hours! I am SO SO SO ready for them to be back here- Dan has been counting down the days, I think for me (even though I am sure that is not true). I cannot wait to babysit Lizzie and spoil her again, I already have an I’m the Big Sister onesie planned! As well as a couple more things! So I am so happy we went and saw them…is it June yet????

Tonight was my first play practice and someone miscounted my lines - I actually have five and a couple of “dance” scenes. It will shock my family to learn that I will be cleaning in part of the play as well as playing the part of the florist :) I actually had a great time even when my phone started ringing in the middle of practice and EVERYONE started laughing (the ring tone is POPULAR from WIcked - yes we are a tad obsessed) and it just was proof to them I was in the right place!

Other than the fact I am totally exhausted lately and I want to sew so badly it hurts - don’t worry I get to sew tomorrow and Thursday and have a few things planned! I am ready to go to Minnesota even though it means losing one of my babies - but getting to met some people I cannot wait to say are friends in real life as well as in the blogging community! We are slowly getting the number of our dogs down to the two that Aaron and I have agreed on - it will be nice, sad but nice. (Still no spell check button - I am getting a bit annoyed with that.)
