The Little Big Club VIP Tickets Contest Winner, Week 1

Posted Nov 03 2010 7:27pm
Every child's development begins with characters that serves as their idols. This is one way to nurture their young minds thru veiwing child friendly characters.

My son, Marion Nathaniel (3 years old), is an avid fan of Thomas and Friends, Angelina Balerina, Ping Gu, and Barney. Upon waking in the morning, he switches the television set on and sits comfortably while waiting for his favorite shows to come on air. Before taking a nap and sleeping at night, he requests us to play Barney's DVD. This routine happens in a regular basis.

Whenever he sees Barney, he associates utters "Barney, my friend". After seeing the Playhouse Disney premier of Thomas and Friends, he asked us to buy trains with faces in front of it. Now that he has six, he calls all of them "Thomas Train". When he sees Angelina's ballet moves, he immitates her as best as he can. Because of Ping Gu, he appreciated the penguins found in his animal book.

I can say that my son is developing with great pace and mental nourishment because of the shows that he is veiwing. Educational, physical, social, and mental aspects are being nourished in seeing the program theme and stories which my son greatly relates to. Because of the shows he deeply admire, television is a good source of information. Instead of being a television addict because of none sense programming, The Little Big Club's vision to be inspiring is being brought out to their viewers.

Though many children watch cartoons and kid's shows, educational ones should be much dwelled into. Thank you to the producers of the shows that my son admires, he is one active and healthy toddler.
